American Idol Pics…

Well Meagan updated her blog with pretty much all the pictures i was gonna put on here, so go check it out. Here’s a couple anyway. We went to Harriet Island, a part of St. Paul, and it was really nice, and peaceful. No crowds, just a nice view.

Here’s a typical sequence of events with Noelle. i thought this was hilarious!

We went to a big shopping and attraction area in Myrtle Beach Saturday called Broadway at the beach. It was pretty cool. All you Blisses notice the sign in the second one.

Well, Mon & Cory and Becky are gone now… it was a lot of fun, and we liked showing them around. We’re sad to see ’em go, though. We’ll be up to Minnesota in about a week so we’ll be able to see them again, and everybody else! Seeya soon!

Ryan got the crazy notion to go out to this island. Took him a while but he finally did it.

Sunday we went with Mon and Cory and Becky to the Provision Company (restaurant) and then we headed over to bald head island. It was a fun day.

On Memorial Day, we went with Phil and Holly and Noelle and spent a fun and relaxing day on Bald Head Island. Holly and Noelle had never been there, and Meagan didn’t get to see very much when she went. Keith took us over there in the morning in the boat. We drove around for a while showing them some parks and stuff, including the turtle pond where we saw an aligator, then we ate at the market, and we walked on the beach for a while. We walked down to the Cape Fear Point which is the southeast corner of the island that juts out. There’s a big pool that forms on the cape when the tide goes down, so there was people swimming it. We wished we would’ve brought our suits! Anyway, Noelle loved walking through the waves! i think Holly will post a video or two of that. Afterwards we drove over to Old Baldy lighthouse and Meagan and i climed all 108 tall steps to the top and took some pics. When we finished we took the Ferry home. It was a good Memorial Day.

Tuesday, Jeff and Joel’s had a mini Graduation with some other local homeschool grads, because their real graduation will be 5 hrs away. Congrats Guys! It was held at a restaurant connected to this pier, and afterwards we went on the pier. It was amazing! We saw 3-4 dolphins, a bunch of Jellyfish, 4-5 stingrays. One of the stingrays looked to be about 8 ft. wide! Anyway it was cool, wish i had my camera, for the wildlife and for Jeff and Joel. i know Debbie and Katie got pics so check their blogs.

Now that’s a lighthouse. :o)
